Not necessarily. Market makers provide liquidity — not price control. Price reflects supply unlocks, macro conditions, derivatives pressure, and sentiment. Before attributing blame, evaluate liquidity metrics: Are spreads stable? Is depth being maintained? Is uptime consistent? If these metrics are healthy, your market maker is likely performing their role. Price depreciation with intact liquidity metrics typically indicates market-level or project-specific headwinds, not market maker failure.
