Not necessarily — it depends on why you are launching the token.
If there is genuine demand and the token is already required for core functionality, launching can be justified even if the product is early. Market readiness is about structural necessity and demand alignment — not simply time-in-market.
However, if the token is being launched primarily for optics, fundraising momentum, or external pressure — without clear, live utility — reconsider. Once a token is live, redesigning core mechanics, supply structure, or positioning is difficult and often disruptive.
The more important question is not "How long have we been live?" but "Are we fully confident in the token's purpose, roadmap, and long-term economic design?"
Certainty of vision matters more than product age.
