How should projects handle listing proposals?

Initial proposals are often soft terms designed to test commercial alignment before internal escalation.

If the structure falls within reasonable market parameters, signaling conditional alignment quickly can accelerate the process and move the opportunity toward formal approval. Over-negotiating too early can stall momentum. Refinement is most effective once the exchange has committed internally to progressing the listing. Timing matters as much as price.
