Do Key Opinion Leaders ("KOLs") matter?

Yes — but they influence attention, not fundamentals.

KOLs can accelerate awareness and concentrate short-term visibility around key milestones. They are effective for distribution and narrative amplification.

However, overreliance on paid amplification often produces shallow engagement and weak retention. Without aligned token design, real product traction, and durable liquidity, attention decays quickly.
